helping kids ‘speak out & stay safe’
The charity’s Speak Out Stay Safe programme for schools has been running for a number of years, with moderate success in getting its message out. But with the threat to children growing in the form of cyber bullying, social stalking and digital abuse, the charity wanted a compelling documentary-style film to give it the push it needed.
We created a mini-documentary from twenty days of film footage, shot across the country featuring teachers, volunteers, students and parents. The film was distributed online and direct to schools with a call-to-action to book sessions & attend workshops.
The Speak Out Stay Safe film was viewed over 100k times on social media and was so successful it was re-edited to promote the Schools Service to teachers and education professionals, before being re-shot and adapted for a Welsh language version too.
